Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name on television. The parents of De La Garza were both Irish and Mexican American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on the 26th of December in 1976. De La Garza emigrated shortly to Texas to study in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas prior to moving to Orlando, Florida. There she played a range of roles in local independent films as well as international commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from discovering that she loved acting. After that, she relocated to New York in 2001 and got her first role in the role of Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. Her roles were sporadic on JAG: Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. Her debut big-screen series aired on The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was on screen for 85 episodes. Her character was later seen on the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for several awards, including Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on the drama series. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments after. She played Marisol Deko in the role of Horatio his wife. She was her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. It was eventually cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her older sister Cory was born 10 years older than her. Her family was strict and religious parents. Milano started her acting career at the age of seven after her babysitter joined her for an audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1,000 applicants. She was selected as one of just four girls. Milano was featured in television ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as Jane Eyre, the American debut of Jane Eyre.
